Badger Challenge

October 2nd, 2026

Resonant Capital Advisors built our business to represent our families, friends and the overall communities where we live. As part of this effort, we support a number of institutions and organizations that reflect the values of our employees and clients. These community posts reflect some of our commitment to these beliefs. We welcome your feedback and ideas on these initiatives.

Resonant Capital Advisors was proud to participate in this year's Badger Challenge, a premier cycling, running, and walking event that raises funds for vital cancer research at the University of Wisconsin and the UW Carbone Cancer Center.

Founded in 2016 by Dr. Paul Harari and Dr. Deric Wheeler, Badger Challenge was created to move cancer research and patient treatment forward. Its mission is to advance state-of-the-art cancer research and treatment for patients and families in Wisconsin and beyond by funding the brightest cancer minds, ideas, and technologies at the University of Wisconsin. 100% of all participant-raised funds go directly to support this mission. The UW research environment brings scientists and clinicians from many disciplines together to solve complex problems in patient care, and Badger Challenge helps speed up that collaboration and discovery.

The event was held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at UW Health Eastpark Medical Center in Madison. Bike rides ranged from 5K to 100 miles, and runners and walkers could choose between a 5K and a half marathon. Hundreds of participants took part, many because of their own personal connections to cancer. Resonant team members participated in both the 5K run and the 5K walk.

More than an event, the Badger Challenge is a community united by hope, impact, and compassion, working together to accelerate discoveries and improve the lives of those affected by cancer. The Resonant Runners (& Walkers!) are grateful for the opportunity to run and walk in support of Badger Challenge, UW Health, and the UW Carbone Cancer Center.
