UWCH Gala

Resonant Capital Advisors was proud to support the 100th Birthday for the UW Health Children's Hospital recently at Monona Terrace in Downtown Madison.

Several members of the Resonant Capital team attended the Gala, which included more than 1,000 people from around the Madison health, business and general community who wanted to support the important work that pediatricians and healthcare workers perform for the youngest patients in Wisconsin communities (and beyond). In addition to a live auction, a live feed from the American Family Children's Hospital and several remarkable stories from patients and families of patients who have been treated at the facilities, attendees also received a live performance from comedian Jim Gaffigan.

The event raised a significant amount of funds for the hospital while also reminding the community of all the work performed at the hospital, which was first opened in 1920 as the Mary Cornelia Bradley Hospital for the Study of Children's Diseases. At that time, it was the first hospital to bring together UW's medical research and academic training for health care professionals to save the lives of the area's sickest children.

In 2007, the state-of-the-art American Family Children's Hospital opened, nearly doubling the size of UW Children's Hospital. The 60-bed American Family Children's Hospital was designed to provide patients and families from throughout Wisconsin a place to heal in a soothing, child-friendly environment.

Resonant Capital was proud to support the facility and all of the people in our community working to help better the lives of our youngest citizens.
