Logan Knecht, CFP® is a Financial Planner and Client Relationship Associate at Resonant Capital Advisors. Logan assists our financial planning department in building comprehensive financial plans for clients, including in retirement, investment, education, estate and insurance planning.
Prior to joining Resonant, Logan worked as a Financial Planning Analyst at Sky’s Edge Wealth, a private wealth advisory practice on the West Side of Madison. Logan also was an intern with Resonant Capital Advisors during college.
A native of Madison, Logan graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Finance, Investments and Banking and was chosen to participate in the Wealth Management and Financial Planning Program in the Wisconsin School of Business. Logan lives in Madison with his fiancée, Ashley, and enjoys golfing in his spare time.
- If you have a completely open schedule on a weekend, what do you most enjoy doing?
Golfing.
- What advice would you give your younger self?
Don’t spend too much time thinking about where you are going to be in months/years, enjoy each day and the rest will figure itself out.

Cleaning golf clubs at Hawk's Landing Golf Course.
