Carl Dewey is the Alternative Investments and Operations Manager at Resonant Capital Advisors. He helps lead the firm’s alternative investment platform, including sourcing and evaluating new opportunities, conducting due diligence, monitoring existing investments, and communicating investment updates to clients and advisors. Carl also supports the firm’s operational initiatives and broader investment research.
Prior to joining Resonant, Carl spent nearly a decade managing complex infrastructure projects throughout Colorado and the mountain west. He later joined Resonant while completing his MBA at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he focused on real estate investing through the James A. Graaskamp Center for Real Estate.
A native of Madison, Carl holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado-Boulder and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He lives in the Madison area with his wife, two children, and two troublemaking dogs. Outside of work, Carl enjoys skiing, endurance sports, and spending time with his family.
In a perfect world I am hiking with my kids in Colorado.
My parents have obviously had the most influence over me. For a not so obvious answer I would say that I’ve gained many insightful lessons from the works of Walter Isaacson and his biographies for Steve Jobs, Da Vinci, Einstein, Franklin, Musk and many other phenomenal works.
